A programmable logic controller is a digital computer used for automation
of electromechanical processes, such as control of machinery on factor as-
sembly lines.
The name PLCopen is a registered trademark and, together with the
®
PLCopen logos, is owned by the association PLCopen
®
dor- and product-independent worldwide association, that defines a stand-
ard for industrial control programming.
