6.15.5 Creating a Network

Procedure

1.
In the Devices window, select Device configuration [1] and add a PSM.

Assign the PSM to the PLC_1 by dragging the middle square under the PLC icon [2] onto the square at top left of the PSM
icon [3]. The PN/IE_1 network is created automatically.
3.
Assign the PROFINET device name, IP address, and subnet mask to the PSM:
- Right-click on the PSM icon.

Select the tab General.

Select PROFINET interface [X1] and then Ethernet addresses.
- Enter the IP address 192.168.101.1 [4].
- Enter the Subnet mask 255.255.255.0 [5].

Repeat steps 1–3 to add a DAM 510, ACM 510, ISD 510, or DSD 510.

In the Devices & networks window, select Topology view [1] and connect the devices by dragging and dropping the icons.

Remove any existing MAIN [OB1] operation block:
