9. Disconnect radio dial bulb socket.
10. Disconnect one 6-way wire connector and
one single connector from headlamp switch.
11. Disconnect light bulb socket and feed wire
connector from clock.
12. Remove one screw retaining bezel assembly
and bracket to instrument panel support near
headlamp switch.
13. Remove one screw retaining bezel assembly
and bracket to instrument panel support near
clock.
14. Disconnect speedometer cable at speed-
ometer head.
15. Disconnect trip odometer reset cable from
bracket on lower flange of instrument panel.
16. Remove three cluster bulb sockets.
17. Disconnect heater - ventilation control as-
sembly bowden cables.
18. Remove two light bulb sockets and discon-
nect electric wire connectors.
NOTE: Disconnect air conditioner control
assembly if so equipped.
19. Remove wire terminal and bulb retainer
assembly and also trunk lid tell-tale bulb socket
if so equipped, Fig. 15-3.
20. Remove two lower screws securing bezel
to lower instrument panel, and remove bezel.
b. Installation
1. Position bezel on instrument panel and in-
stall two screws retaining bezel assembly to
instrument panel, one left of headlamp switch and
the other right of clock.
2. Install two lower screws securing bezel to
lower instrument panel.
3. Install wire terminal and bulb retainer as-
sembly and also trunk lid tell-tale bulb socket if
so equipped, Fig. 15-3.
NOTE: Tang at upper center of wire ter-
minal must have metal to metal contact to
ground plastic wire terminal.
4. Connect heater - ventilation control assem-
bly bowden cables.
