2. Remove two screws retaining ornament im-
pact bar.
3. Remove three screws retaining lower lens.
4. Remove back up bulb.
5. Remove upper lens screw, lens gasket and
inner, upper optical lens.
NOTE: When removing, carefully note po-
sition of lens and lens gasket.
6. Replace tail, stop and signal bulb.
c. Tail Light (Fender)
Remove two lens retaining screws, remove
lens and replace bulb.
d. License Plate Lamps
Remove two screws retaining lens and housing
to rear bumper ornament and remove lens to
gain access to bulb.
e. Map Light
Remove two bezel screws and remove bezel
and lens to gain access to bulb.
f. Heater and Fresh Air or Air Conditioning
Control Panel Lights
Remove four screws retaining lower steering
column cover to instrument panel to gain access
to the two bulbs for each unit.
g. Turn Signal Indicator Lights
The turn signal indicator light cover must be
removed to gain access to the bulb. The screw
that retains the light cover to the light base is
located on the underside of the fender. Remove
headlight door, remove cover screw and cover.
Replace bulb.
h. Cornering Lights
Remove seven screws and three washers se-
curing chrome bezel and lens assembly. Remove
bezel and lens to replace bulb. When replacing
make certain the four outer, oval head retaining
screws are positioned in the bezel. The three
inner round head screws with sealing washers
are positioned in the lens.
50. Instrument Panel Cluster-
Bulb Replacement
All cluster bulbs are accessible from under
the dash after removing the lower steering column
cover. Remove four screws securing lower steer-
ing column cover. One screw securing the cover
has eight points and must be removed using a 1/4"
eight point socket to avoid raising burrs on the
special screw head.
A guide to bulb locations is shown in Fig. 12-64.
51. Front Turn Signal and Parking
Lamps—Removal and Installation
a. Removal
1. Disconnect parking lamp wire from under-
hood harness connector.
2. Loosen parking lamp inner mounting bracket
bolt which is attached to bumper.
3. Remove two mounting nuts securing parking
lamp to brackets.

4. Remove parking lamp from front side.
