BRAKES
DIAGNOSIS CHART (CONT'D.)
CONDITION
Brake moan during stop.
Brakes slow or fail to release.
CAUSE
Drum vibration.
Dirty compensating port.
Bent or dented vacuum cylinder.
Restricted air passage in power
piston.
Broken vacuum piston return
spring.
Faulty hydraulic check valves.
Air valve sticking.
Tight pedal linkage.
CORRECTION
Install proper type drum-to-
wheel clip kit.
Clean.
Replace.
Remove or replace.
