4. Make sure the gasket is centered in the bottom of the well and that it does
not block the inlet and outlet of the well. The inlet and outlet are small
round openings in the bottom of the well (see
Figure 9-61.
5. Verify that the reference electrode O-ring has
been removed and the reference electrode
gasket is correctly installed in the bottom of the
well.
6. Screw the pH-Ag/AgCl reference electrode into
the reference electrode well and tighten it
fingertight (see
7. Orient the cell assembly with the yoke knob on the left and then push the
cell onto its mounting location on the ED.
8. Connect the reference electrode cable and the cell cable.
9. Reconnect the cell inlet and outlet lines.
