Follow the steps below to install capillary tube fittings:
1. Install the fitting bolt and ferrule onto
the tubing. Position the ferrule at least
2 mm (0.1 in) from the end of the
tubing (see
2. Insert the tubing into the port until it
stops.
3. While maintaining pressure on the
tubing to keep it in place in the port,
tighten the fitting bolt fingertight.
4. If you are installing a high-pressure
fitting (blue bolt and ferrule), follow
the instructions below to tighten the
fitting.
