Upgrade preparation is required before the conversion of the option 21
hardware and software begins. You must first do the following:
— Inventory all equipment required for the upgrade.
— Back up the customer database to disk by doing a data dump.
— Install some of the new hardware.
Note: Obtain extra-high-density floppy disks containing system
software from your Northern Telecom representative.
