12 Follow the steps below to convert the release 19 or higher database to
release 21, and install the customer database on the option 61C Core 1.
You will need the B disk previously created when you performed a data
dump in step 11.
Note: Refer to "Software Installation Tool reference," Software
conversion procedures (553-2001-320).
• To activate the Software Installation Tool, insert disk 1 (from the
release 20 disk set) from the software upgrade package into the
NT5D20 IOP/CMDU in Core/Net 1.
• Press the MAN RST button on the NT6D66 CP card in Core/Net 1.
• Select the following options in sequence, and insert the customer
database diskette (from the steps above) when you are prompted to
do so:

• Follow all screen directions until the software, database, CP-ROM
and IOP-ROM installations are complete.
• When the main menu appears, select the following options:

• Remove any diskettes from the floppy drive, and type

When you have rebooted the system, proceed with step 13.
13 After the system initializes, set the ENB/DIS switch to ENB on the
NT6D65 CNI card in Core/Net 0.
