17 Load overlay 137 and synchronize the hard disks. To be sure the contents
of CMDU 1 are copied to CMDU 0, verify that CMDU 0 is disabled:

Note: Synchronization may take up to 30 minutes.
18 Get the status of the CMDUs and be sure CMDU 0 is active. Switch
CMDUs if necessary:

19 In the Configuration Record (LD 17), add LD 135 and LD 137 to the
midnight routines. Remove LD 35, but leave LD 37 selected.
20 Insert a B1 database disk into each IOP/CMDU for backup. Load overlay
43 and perform data dump to the backup disks. This command creates
backups on both hard disks when redundancy is in effect (the hard disks
are synchronized) and on the floppy on the active IOP/CMDU if a disk
in installed:
LD 43
EDD
If the data dump is not successful, do not continue; contact your
technical support organization. A data dump problem must be
corrected before proceeding.
