35 Perform a data dump. At the prompt, enter
EDD
When "DATABASE BACKUP COMPLETE" or "DATADUMP
COMPLETE" appears on the terminal, proceed to the next step.
If the data dump is not successful, do not continue; contact your
technical support organization. A data dump problem must be
corrected before proceeding.
36 Press the RLD button on the NTND01 ICM card to begin a sysload.
When prompted, remove the disk from drive A and insert the next disk
in sequence (A2, A3, etc.). System messages similar to the following will
appear:
SYS000
INSERT DISK Ax INTO DRIVE A
SYSLOAD RLS: xxISSUE:x
DONE
INI000
37 Immediately following the system initialization sequence, remove the
disk from drive A and insert disk A1.
38 Log into the system.
39 Update the Configuration Record:
LD 17
ADAN
FTYP
****
40 Copy the contents of the data disks to the hard disk by entering
LD 43
RES
to begin the data dump
CAUTION
to load the program
enter CHG HDK 0 to specify a single SMDU
enter 3S to specify 3.5-in. extra-high-density disks
to exit the program
to load the program
to copy the entire contents of the backup to the
hard disk
