Test the inactive Core, then switch Cores and test the other side:

10 Get the status of the CP cards and memory and of the CNIs:

11 Load overlay 137 and synchronize the hard disks. To be sure the contents
of the CMDU 1 are copied to the CMDU 0, verify that the CMDU 0 is
disabled:
LD 137
STAT
SYNC
Note: Synchronization may take up to 30 minutes.
12 Get the status of the CMDUs and be sure the CMDU 0 is active. Switch
the CMDUs if necessary:
STAT
SWAP

13 In the Configuration Record (LD 17), add LD 135 and LD 137 to the
midnight routines. Remove LD 35, but leave LD 37 selected.
14 Insert a B1 database disk into each IOP/CMDU for backup. Load overlay
43 and perform a data dump to the backup disks. This command creates
backups on both hard disks when redundancy is in effect (the hard disks
are synchronized) and the floppy on the active IOP/CMDU if a disk is
installed:

to switch the CMDUs (if necessary)
to exit LD 137
to load the program
to begin the data dump
