36 Remove the QPC687 CPU card.
37 Remove the QPC673 or QPC814 Memory card and the QPC709
Peripheral Signaling card.
38 Remove the NT9D34 EMSI card and set positions 1, 5, 7, and 8 on
switch SW3 to ON.
39 Reinstall the NT9D34 EMSI card and set the ENB/DIS switch to ENB.
40 Unpack the NTND01 ICM card from its carton. Verify that the NTND31
ROM card is installed on the ICM card. If it is not, install the NTND31
ROM card on the ICM card, and install the ICM card in slot 2.
Carefully align the connector pins when installing a ROM card.
Failure to use care may result in damage to one of the cards or system
failure.
41 Set the ENB/DIS switch on the NTND02 MSPS card to DIS.
42 Set the switches on the NTND02 MSPS card to activate SDI ports. To
avoid conflicting addresses and determine the appropriate switch
settings, refer to Circuit card installation and testing (553-3001-211).
43 Connect the battery pack on the NTND02 MSPS card by plugging the
battery clip connector to the clip connector on the card as illustrated in
Figure 4-1.
Note: The battery will not be fully charged until 24 hours after
installation in a powered system.
44 Install the NTND02 MSPS card in slot 4 and install a blank faceplate in
slot 1.
