18 Remove the disk from the NTND16 MDU drives and insert ED floppy
disks with the next required release software into the drives. Insert
disk A in DRV A and disk B in DRV B. Refer to Table 6-5, "Database
conversion requirements, NT system upgrade to option 61C," on
page 6-79 to determine the software release required for the next
conversion step; for example, X11 release 10 software is required for the
conversion from release 9 to release 10.
19 Execute the conversion data dump program, which is already loaded. At
the prompt, enter
CDD
When "DATABASE BACKUP COMPLETE" or "DATADUMP
COMPLETE" appears on the terminal, proceed to the next step.
If the data dump is not successful, do not continue; contact your
technical support organization. A data dump problem must be
corrected before proceeding.
20 Simultaneously press the RLD buttons on both QPC581 CMA cards to
start a sysload. System messages similar to the following will appear:
SYS000
SYSLOAD RLS: xxISSUE:x
DONE
INI000
21 Log into the system.
22 Load the Equipment Data Dump Program (LD 43). At the prompt, enter
LD 43
Always enter LD 43 from the source (current) media. Do not exit LD 43.
When "EDD000" appears on the terminal, proceed to the next step.
