5 Remove the three mounting screws that secure the front of the card cage
to the bottom of the module. Keep the screws for reuse.
It may be necessary to temporarily remove some of the cards to get to
the three mounting screws. Be sure to replace these cards back into the
same slots after the screws have been removed.
6 Tag and disconnect all cables from the I/O panels. Remove the I/O safety
panel that covers the rear of the backplane.
7 Tag and disconnect the system monitor ribbon cables to J1 and J2 (see
Figure 9-3).
