Converting a database from release 10, 12, 13, or 14 to release 21

Remove the front covers from the CPU/Network cabinet in the
NT system.

Log into the system.

If the NT system has an NT8D69 MDU installed, skip this entire step. If
no NT8D69 MDU is installed in the NT system, make room in the
system for installation of the NTND16 MDU. If three consecutive CPU
slots are not available, use three slots in the network shelf. Disable and
remove the cards from the system.

Load the Common Equipment Diagnostic Program (LD 35) and check
the status of the CPUs:
LD 35
STAT CPU
Verify that CPU 1 is enabled and CPU 0 is idle. If CPU 0 is enabled, test
and switch the CPUs:
TCPU
SCPU
Check the status of the CPUs again:
STAT CPU
Verify that CPU 1 is enabled and CPU 0 is idle, then enter

In CPU 1, set the MAINT/NORM switch on the QPC580 CPU Interface
card to MAINT.

Load the Equipment Data Dump Program (LD 43). At the prompt, enter
LD 43
Always enter LD 43 from the source (current) media. Do not exit LD 43.
When "EDD000" appears on the terminal, proceed to the next step.
Note: Your system will have either a QPC584 MSI card or an NT9D34
EMSI card.
