19 In the Configuration Record (LD 17), add LD 135 and LD 137 to the
midnight routines. Remove LD 35, but leave LD 37 selected.
20 Insert a B1 database disk into each IOP/CMDU for backup. Load overlay
43 and perform a data dump to the backup disks. This command creates
backups on both hard disks when redundancy is in effect (the hard disks
are synchronized) and on the floppy on the active CMDU if a disk is
installed.
Load the Equipment Data Dump Program (LD 43). At the prompt, enter
LD 43
21 When "EDD000" appears on the terminal, enter
EDD
22 When "DATABASE BACKUP COMPLETE" or "DATADUMP
COMPLETE" appears on the terminal, enter

If the data dump is not successful, do not continue; contact your
technical support organization. A data dump problem must be
corrected before proceeding.
23 Perform the appropriate step to turn off power in each Core/Network
module:
For AC-powered systems, set the circuit breaker on the MPDU in
the module to OFF (down position).
For DC-powered systems, set the switch on the module power
supply to OFF (down position).
24 Label each card that is being transferred to a Core/Network module with
the shelf (0 or 1) and loop (0-31) for the card.
25 On all cards that are being transferred to Core/Network modules, disable
the faceplate switches, disconnect all cables, and remove the cards.
