42 In CPU 1, remove the QPC579 CPU Function card. Remove the QPC939
ROM card and replace it with the NTND08 ROM card. Reinstall the
CPU card.
Carefully align the connector pins when installing a ROM card.
Failure to use care may result in damage to one of the cards or system
failure.
43 In CPU 1, connect the cable to the QPC579 CPU Function card and the
QPC580 CPU Interface card.
44 Set the ENB/DIS switch on the QPC580 CPU Interface card in CPU 1 to
ENB.
45 Verify that the MAINT/NORM switch on the QPC580 CPU Interface
card in CPU 1 is set to MAINT.
46 In CPU 0, set the ENB/DIS switch on the QPC580 CPU Interface card to
DIS.
47 In CPU 0, set the ENB/DIS switch on the QPC581 CMA card to DIS.
48 Disconnect both cables from the QPC581 CMA card faceplate
connectors and remove the card.
49 On the NTND10 CMA card, connect pins 1 and 2 on the jumper at J3 and
install the card.
50 Connect the cables to the NTND10 CMA card; connect the bottom cable
first.
51 Set the ENB/DIS switch on the NTND10 CMA card in CPU 0 to ENB.
52 Remove the QPC583 Memory card from CPU 0.
53 Install the NTND09 Memory card in CPU 0.
Note: There are three slots for memory cards for each CPU. A maximum
of two NTND09 Memory cards can be used for each CPU. If only one
memory card is used for each CPU, install it in slot 3 next to the CMA
card. If two memory cards are used for each CPU, install them in slots 2
and 3.
