16 Insert a B1 database diskette into each IOP/CMDU and perform a data
dump to the backup disks. This creates backups on both hard disks when
redundancy is in effect (the hard disks are synchronized) and on the
floppy on the active IOP/CMDU if a diskette is installed.
Load the Equipment Data Dump Program (LD 43). At the prompt, enter
LD 43
When "EDD000" appears on the terminal, perform the data dump. At the
prompt, enter
EDD
When "DATABASE BACKUP COMPLETE" or "DATADUMP
COMPLETE" appears on the terminal, the upgrade is complete.
If the data dump is not successful, do not continue; contact your
technical support organization. A data dump problem must be
corrected before proceeding.
