15 For systems using MSI cards, connect one end of an NT8D80AD cable
to the connector on the MSI card in CPU 1. Connect the other end to
faceplate connector 1 on the NTND16 MDU. For systems using EMSI
cards, connect one end of an NT9D89AD cable to the connector on the
EMSI card in CPU 1. Connect the other end to faceplate connector 1 on
the NTND16 MDU.
16 In CPU 1, set the ENB/DIS switch on each MSI or EMSI card to ENB.
17 Insert ED floppy disks with release 18 software into the NTND16 MDU
drives. Insert disk A in DRV A and disk B in DRV B.
18 Perform a data dump. At the prompt, enter
EDD
When "DATABASE BACKUP COMPLETE" or "DATADUMP
COMPLETE" appears on the terminal, proceed to the next step.
If the data dump is not successful, do not continue; contact your
technical support organization. A data dump problem must be
corrected before proceeding.
19 In CPU 1, set the ENB/DIS switch on the QPC580 CPU Interface card to
DIS.
20 In CPU 1, set the ENB/DIS switch on the QPC581 CMA card to DIS.
21 Disconnect both cables from the QPC581 CMA card faceplate
connectors.
22 In CPU 1, remove the QPC581 CMA card.
23 On the NTND10 CMA card, connect pins 1 and 2 on the jumper at J3 and
install the card.
24 Connect the cables to the NTND10 CMA card; connect the bottom cable
first.
25 Set the ENB/DIS switch on the NTND10 CMA card in CPU 1 to ENB.
26 Remove the QPC583 Memory card from CPU 1.
