25 Set option switches on the NTND02 MSPS card to activate SDI ports. To
avoid conflicting addresses, determine the appropriate option switch
settings. Refer to Circuit card installation and testing (553-3001-211).
26 Connect the battery pack on the NTND02 MSPS card by plugging the
battery clip connector to the clip connector on the card as illustrated in
Figure 8-2.
Note: The battery will not be fully charged until 24 hours after
installation in a powered system.

27 Install the NTND02 MSPS card in slot 3.
28 Connect the SDI cable:
Connect the end previously connected to the QPC687 CPU card to
the connector on the NTND02 MSPS faceplate.
Connect the other end of the cable to the I/O panel.
Note: If both SDI ports are configured, connect the input connector of
an NTND37 Dual SDI cable to the SDI cable at the I/O panel. This cable
provides two connectors, one for each port.
29 Set the ENB/DIS switch on the NTND02 MSPS card to ENB.
Before you power up the system, review the installation steps and verify that
all cards are in the appropriate card slots, enabled, and properly cabled. Then
continue with the next section.
