Check engine compartment wire harness
a. Turn ignition switch to LOCK and disconnect the negative
battery cable.
b. Disconnect the connectors E-052 and E-030.
c. Check for continuity between the terminal 4 and 9 of
connector E-052 and terminal 32 and 3 of connector E-030.
Repair or replace failed circuit

Check for continuity between wire harness connector E-030 and ground
a. Turn ignition switch to LOCK and disconnect the negative
battery cable.
b. Disconnect the wire harness connector E-030.
c. Check for continuity between the terminals 3 and 32 of
wire harness connector E-030 and ground.
