NOTE
Fusing pressure can be increasing or decreasing the gap between Spring Hook 1 (1) and
Spring Hook 2 (2). It is adjusted to 2.5mm in usual case. And the width of "Nip" is adjusted to
8 - 9mm on center and 10 - 11mm on both sides ("Side" means 10mm from side edges of A0
or 36" paper).

Can the issue be fixed if a newly
unpacked media is used?

Turn on the KIP9000, and check
the fuser temperature (Data
No.00) in the Data Monitoring
Mode of Service Mode. Does the
fuser temperature rise normally
when in warning up?

Check the setting values on the
following setting items of
Adjustment Mode 0.

(PPC)
No.4-11: Fusing temperature
(Tracing)

Is the setting value on each item
much lower than what it must be?
