1 Is the Toner Receiver under the
Developer Roller fully filled with
the toner?
2 Is the Transfer Guide Plate dirty?
3 Can any dirt be found on the Roll
Decks or Bypass Feeder, which
might cause the issue?
4 Is the Fuser Entrance Guide Plate
dirty?
5 Is the melted toner sticking
around the exit part (Fuser Roller,
Pressure Roller, Stripper Fingers
and so on)?
Checking matter
1 Can the issue be fixed if a newly
unpacked media is used?
2 Can the issue be fixed if a
supported (specified) media is
used?
3 Check the setting values on the
following setting items of
Adjustment Mode 0.
No.4-10: Fusing temperature
(PPC)
No.4-11: Fusing temperature
(Tracing)
No.4-12: Fusing temperature
(Film)
Is the setting value on each item
correctly set?
4 Is the Web contacted on the Fuser
Roller correctly?
5 Is the harness connected to each
Web Motor (M11), Driver PCB
(PW10257), DC Driver PCB
(PW7755) and Main Control PCB
(PW11520)?
6 Is the Web roll correctly installed?
7 Can the error be fixed by
replacing the Web Motor?
8 Does the voltage between J571-0
and J573-1 on the Driver PCB
show 24V?

Result Treatment
Yes Remove the toner from the Toner
Receiver. Check if the inside of
machine is dirty with the spilt toner
as well.
Yes Clean the Transfer Guide. Also
check if a proper gap is kept
between Drum and Transfer Guide
Plate seeing [5.13.15 Adjustment of
gap between Drum & Transfer
Guide Plate].
Yes Wipe off the dirt. And find the cause
of dirt.
Yes Clean it.
Yes Clean it off.
Result Treatment
Yes Advise the user to keep the media
avoiding the humidity.
Yes Explain to the user that a
satisfactory image quality may not
be achieved if unsupported media is
used.
