Activating Scaling factor
While an MDI block or a program block is executing, the position stored in the block
is multiplied by the Scaling factor. This allows you to mirror or scale an MDI block
or program block on one or more axes, without changing the block.
Example: Using a scaling factor

Tap the quick access menu on the status bar
To navigate to the desired setting, drag the view to the left
Activate Scaling factor with the ON/OFF slide switch
Enter the desired Scaling factor for each axis
Confirm each entry with RET
To close the quick access menu, tap Close
For an active scaling factor ≠ 1, the corresponding symbol
appears in the position display
Scaling factor: X = -1
Hole 1: X:-10, Y:10
Hole 2: X:-40, Y:10
Scaling factor: X&Y = -1
Hole 1: X:-10, Y:-10
Hole 2: X:-40, Y:-10
y
No scaling factor: X&Y = 1
Hole 1: X:10, Y:10
Hole 2: X:40, Y:10
Scaling factor: Y = -1
Hole 1: X:10, Y:-10
Hole 2: X:40, Y:-10
