Turning the chamfer

In the fourth machining step, you will turn the chamfer. The chamfer is necessary for
the stud bolt to engage better when it is screwed in.

Finishing the outside contour

In the fourth machining step, you will machine the outside contour using the
finishing tool.

Insert the turning chisel (45°) into the tool holder
Tap Tools on the status bar
The Tools dialog box appears
Tap Turning tool 45°
Tap Confirm
The associated tool parameters are applied by the product
automatically
The Tools dialog box is closed
Set a spindle speed of 1500 rpm
Position the tool:
X: Ø 7.0 mm
Z: 2.0 mm
Move the tool to the workpiece edge until tiny chips occur
Note down the Z axis value
Feed the tool by 2.2 mm in the Z axis (oversize of 0.2 mm +
2 mm from the chamfer) (1.)
Move the tool to a safe position (2.)
Switch off the spindle
You have successfully turned the chamfer
