Kv factor P, Kv factor L and Positioning window in NC mode
The diagram below shows the relationship between the two parameters Kv factor P,
Kv factor L and the Positioning window in NC mode.

The Kv factor P is effective for the traverse path. As soon as the nominal values
of the position controller that are calculated from the acceleration ramps reach the
Positioning window in NC mode, this triggers a switchover to the Kv factor L. The
target position is transferred to the position controller as the new nominal value.
HEIDENHAIN recommends that the two Kv factors not be set too far apart.
Outputs
In the settings for the outputs, you can configure your motor. Depending on the type
of motor, you have to make different settings.
