Machine functions

You can call machine functions to machine the workpiece.
The available functions depend on the configuration of the connected machine tool.
The following blocks and parameters are available:
Block type
Spindle speed
Feed rate
Cutting speed
Tool call
M function
Dwell time

Machining cycle

If the lathe is configured for thread cutting, two machining cycles are available.
Thread cutting (basic) allows you to execute a simple thread cut without downfeed.
Thread cutting (extended) allows you to define an extended thread cycle with
downfeed.

Parameter / Description
Rotational speed of the tool spindle
Speed of the tool axis (only for an NC-controlled axis)
Cutting speed of the turning tool
Number of the tool
Optional: Selection from tool table

When a tool call is run, the spindle is automatically
stopped and the user is requested to load the corre-
sponding tool.
Number of the M function
Optional: Selection from function table
Time interval between machining steps
Before defining a machining pattern, you must
Define a suitable tool in the tool table
Select the tool on the status bar

Information for the Operator user | Programming
If the program does not contain a Feed rate
block, the product uses the feed rate value
