5 - Removal and Re-installation

5.5.2 Remove

To remove the top access door, follow these steps:
4) Prepare the device for replacing parts by following the steps in section 5.1 How to Prepare the
Device for Removing / Re-installing Modules. At the end, the device should be powered down with
all external cables safely disconnected and the hopper shuttle parked near the front of the device.
5) Unlock the top access door (see section 2.7 How to Open the Top Access Door).
6) Open the top access door halfway (just past the latches on either side of the cover).
7) Using both hands, gently pull the top cover to the right, then slightly upward to free it from its left
track as shown in Figure 5-25.

8) Repeat the process, pulling it to the left and slightly upward, to free it from its right track.
