5 - Removal and Re-installation

5.32.2 Remove

To remove the AC filter, follow these steps:
1) Prepare the device for replacing parts by following the steps in section 5.1 How to Prepare the
Device for Removing / Re-installing Modules. At the end, the device should be powered down with
all external cables safely disconnected and the hopper shuttle parked near the front of the device.
2) Remove the power supply by following the steps in section 5.33 How to Remove / Re-install the
Power Supply.
3) Locate the AC filter on the rear of the device (see Figure 5-152).
4) Use the 7/64" hex key to remove the two screws that hold the AC filter in place.
5) Using the flashlight, look through the left side access door and locate the AC filter where it enters the
case (see Figure 5-154). You can identify it by the three electrical connectors attached to it.
