5 - Removal and Re-installation
5.36.3 Re-install
To re-install the touchscreen, follow these steps:
1) Place the cover on a protected surface with the front touchscreen opening toward the floor.
2) Put the touchscreen in place.
3) Put the touchscreen retaining plate over the touchscreen so the screw holes line up with the screw
holes in the cover.
4) Use the No. 2 Phillips screwdriver to insert and tighten the screws.
5) Perform any other service that requires the cover to be removed.
6) Re-install the cover by following the steps in section 5.3 How to Remove / Re-install the Cover.
7) Secure the touchscreen cables with silicone adhesive as shown in Figure 5-178.

8) Perform any other service that requires the device to be powered down and open.
9) Close the top access door.
10) Re-connect the power cable, network cable, and any security hardware.
11) Power on the device.
12) Use the touchscreen to navigate through several menus to make sure it functions properly.
13) Perform any relevant adjustments from section 6 Adjustments, notably section 6.1 How to
Calibrate the Touchscreen.
