5 - Removal and Re-installation

5.32.3 Re-install

To re-install the AC filter, follow these steps:
1) Make sure the three power supply spade connectors are still emerging from the AC filter's mounting
hole on the rear of the case.
2) Attach the three spade connectors to the AC filter, using the wire colors (not the connector colors)
shown in Figure 5-155 as a guide.
3) Re-insert the AC filter into its mounting hole. Use Figure 5-152 to make sure it is oriented correctly.
4) The final 1/8" of insertion requires more force than the initial insertion. Use both thumbs to press
hard. To make sure the AC filter is fully inserted, use the flashlight, look into the case, and make sure
you can see the tab highlighted in Figure 5-157.
5) Use the 7/64" hex key to re-install the two screws that hold the AC filter in place.
6) Re-install the power supply and power on the device by following the steps in section 5.33 How to
Remove / Re-install the Power Supply. At the end, the device should be closed, re-connected,
powered on, and run through a small test to make sure the power supply is functioning correctly.
7) If MagTek has not requested parts for analysis, dispose of the AC filter.
