POSSIBLE CAUSE
DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE
DTC B1342, C1730 [DSC/RSC] DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE
STEP INSPECTION
VERIFY DTC INSPECTION
Turn the ignition switch off.
1 Using the M-MDS, perform the
DTC inspection.
Are any DTCs other than B1342
and C1730 output?
VERIFY CURRENT STATUS OF
MALFUNCTION
Clear the DTC from the memory.

DIAGNOSTIC [DSC/RSC].)
Is the same DTC present?
VERIFY THAT NO DTCS ARE
OUTPUT AGAIN
Drive the vehicle at 32 km/h or

more.
Stop the vehicle and verify the
DTCs.
Are DTCs output again?
DTC B211B, C1279, C1280, C1281, C1282, C1516, C1517, C2769, C2770

ACTION
Go to the applicable DTC inspection.

Replace the DSC/RSC HU/CM, then go to the next
step.

If DTC B1342 or C1730 is output again, replace the
DSC/RSC HU/CM.
