10. Using a flathead screwdriver, remove the snap ring from the counter drive gear.

Assembly Procedure
NOTE:
The tapered roller bearing and bearing race outer must be replaced as a
set.
1. Using the SST and a press, install the tapered roller bearing to the center support.
Substitution SST
49 L033 101

The tapered roller bearing cannot be removed from the center
support.
The tapered roller bearing and center support must be replaced as a
set.
