– Too many errors have occurred simultaneously.
• Clarify: What is the status of the installed safety module - does
it contain a valid parameter set?
• Read out and analyse the log file of the basic unit via FCT.
• Eliminate causes of error step by step.
• Install safety module with "delivery status" and perform com
missioning of basic unit.
• If this is not available: Set factory settings in the safety module,
then copy data from the basic unit and perform complete valid
ation. Check whether the error occurs again.
Consecutive error if internal communication is disrupted.
– Basic unit not ready for operation, faulty or memory error.
• Check the basic unit for function
• Generate an error in the basic unit, e.g. by unplugging the posi
tion encoder, and check whether the basic unit writes an entry
to the log file.
• Module or basic unit faulty; replace.
– Voltage interruption / power off while parameters were being
saved.
• Maintain a voltage supply of 24 V throughout the parameterisa
tion session.
• Once the error has occurred, parameterise the module again
and validate the parameter set again.
– Voltage interruption / power off while parameters were being
saved.
– Flash memory in safety module corrupted (e.g. by extreme
malfunctions).
Check whether the error recurs after a reset. If it does:
• Parameterise the module again and validate the parameter set
again. If error persists:
• Module faulty, replace.
