Cross-comparison between μC1 and μC2 has detected an angle
difference or rotational speed difference or difference in capture
times for the position encoders.
• Timing disrupted. If the error occurs again after a reset, the
safety module is presumably faulty.
– Error at outputs DOUT40 ... DOUT42 (detected by test pulses).
– Internal error of digital inputs DIN40 ... DIN49 (detected via
internal test signals).
– Error at brake output at X6 (signalling, detected by test pulses).
– Internal error of brake output (detected via internal test sig­
nals).
– Internal error of digital outputs DOUT40 – DOUT42 (detected
via internal test signals).
• Check the connection wiring for the digital outputs DOUT40 ...
DOUT42 (short circuit, cross circuit, etc.).
• Check the connection wiring for the brake (short circuit, cross
circuit, etc.).
• Brake connection: The error may occur with long motor cables
if:
1. The brake output X6 was configured for the brake (this is the
case with factory settings!) and
2. A motor without a holding brake is used and the brake connec­
tion lines in the motor cable are terminated at X6. In this case:
Disconnect the brake connection lines at X6.
• If there is no error in the connection wiring, there may be an
internal error in the module (check by swapping the module).
