Problem
Description
The switch fabric in the PTX5000 includes the SIBs and the FPCs. A link that is in a down or error state
indicates a problem with the switch fabric.
Solution
To troubleshoot the switch fabric:
1. Verify that all nine SIBs and all installed FPCs are online. Use the show chassis fabric summary command
to check for errors.
