Using both hands, slide the PDU into the chassis until you feel resistance (see
446).

Push the metal handle up toward the PDU.

Tighten the captive screws on the metal handle. Use a number 2 Phillips (+) screwdriver.

Connect the DC input power cables to the DC power terminal blocks. See
the PTX5000 High Capacity DC PDUs" on page 270

Install the PSMs at the front of the chassis. See
page 447
for details.
9.
Switch on the customer-site circuit breakers.
10. Move the input power switch on the PDU to the on (|) position.
11. Verify that the PDU OK LED on the PDU faceplate is lit steadily, indicating that the PDU is
correctly installed and is functioning properly.
