CLOSED CRANKCASE SYSTEM
TECHNICAL FEATURES
The lubrication system of this scooter adopt the closed crankcase system.
This system separates the crank room from the oil room, decrease the pumping loss of the crankshaft and balancer, and
stabilize the oil surface.
The engine oil pumped by the oil pump feeds separately through the oil filter and oil passage to the crankcase and cylinder
head. After lubricating the crankshaft, the oil is returned to the oil room through the reed valve.
The reed valve prevent the oil from counter flowing.
This engine also adopts the following:
– One-shaft and first balancer
– Separate type main journal bearing
– Left crankshaft bearing to hold the left end of the crankshaft
