FUEL SYSTEM (PGM-FI)
Ground the test harness terminal with a jumper
wire.
TOOL:
Test probe
CONNECTION: White – Ground
Turn the ignition switch ON and engine stop switch
" "., the MIL should come on.
• If the MIL come on, replace the PCM/ECM with a
known good one.
• If the MIL does not come on, check for open cir-
cuit in the White wire between the combination
meter and PCM/ECM.
If the wire is good condition, replace the combi-
nation meter with a known good one, and
recheck.
MIL circuit inspection with test harness
Connect the test harness to the PCM/ECM 33P
(Black) connector (page 6-17).
Ground the PCM/ECM 33P (Black) connector termi-
nal of the wire side connector with a jumper wire.
CONNECTION:
NSS250S: 18 – Ground
NSS250A: 31 – Ground
Turn the ignition switch ON and engine stop switch

• If the MIL come on, replace the PCM/ECM with a
known good one.
• If the MIL does not come on, check for open cir-
cuit in the White wire between the combination
meter and PCM/ECM.
If the wire is good condition, replace the combi-
nation meter with a known good one, and
recheck.
