FUEL SYSTEM (PGM-FI)
2. O Sensor Open Circuit Inspection

Turn the ignition switch OFF.
Disconnect the PCM 33P (Black) connector.
Disconnect the O
Check the continuity between the O
and PCM 33P connectors of the wire side.
TOOL:
Test probe
CONNECTION: Black/orange – Black/orange
Is there continuity?
YES
NO
3. O Sensor Short Circuit Inspection

Connect the PCM 33P (Black) connector.
Check the continuity between the O
connector of the wire side and ground.
CONNECTION: Black/orange – Ground
Is there continuity?
YES
NO
4. O Sensor Inspection

Replace the O
new one (page 6-107).
Erase the DTC's (page 6-16).
Connect the O
Turn the ignition switch ON and engine stop
switch " ".
Start the engine and warm up until the engine oil
temperature is 80°C (176°F).
Test-ride the scooter and recheck the O
with the HDS pocket tester.
Is the DTC 21-1 indicated?
YES
NO
