HANDLE LOCK MODULE
COMMUNICATION LINE INSPECTION
(NSS250A: WITH TEST PROBE)
Disconnect the following connectors:
– Handle lock module 21P (Black) connector (page
23-26)
– PCM 21P (Black) connector (page 6-17)
Check the continuity between the handle lock mod-
ule 21P and PCM 21P connectors of the wire side
using a special tool.
TOOL:
Test probe
CONNECTION: Yellow/green – Yellow/green
There is continuity if the system is normal.
If there is no continuity, check for open circuit in Yel-
low/green wire.

COMMUNICATION LINE INSPECTION
(NSS250A: WITH TEST HARNESS)
Connect the test harness 21P between the following
items:
– Handle lock module 21P (Black) connector and
main harness (page 23-17)
– PCM 21P (Black) connector and main harness
(page 6-17)
Check the continuity between the test harness 21P
connectors.
CONNECTION: 11 – 17
There is continuity if the system is normal.
If there is no continuity, check for open circuit in Yel-
low/green wire.
REGISTRATION CONNECTOR LINE
INSPECTION (WITH TEST PROBE)
Remove the following:
– Inner cover (page 3-27)
– Battery cover (page 19-6)
Remove the dummy connector.
Release the registration 2P (Red) connector from the
battery band.
PCM 21P CONNECTOR
