Seat/Console Box Does Not Open
1. Mechanical Key Inspection
Check if the seat and console box can be opened using the mechanical key.
Can the seat and console box be opened?
YES
NO
2. Ignition Switch Inspection
Check if the Card Key is recognized by the handle lock module and the ignition switch can be turned.
Can the ignition switch be turned?
YES
NO
3. Actuator Inspection
You should hear the actuator operating sound when release button pushed.
Is the sound hear?
YES
NO

• Faulty lock cable
• Faulty lock linkage
• Lock operation stuck close
• Seat and console box stuck close
– GO TO STEP 3.
