LUBRICATION SYSTEM

Apply oil to the oil pump inner rotor and outer rotor

whole surface.

Install the outer rotor into the oil pump body.

Install the inner rotor into the outer rotor with its

drive pin groove facing the oil pump cover.

Apply oil to the oil pump shaft rolling area.

Install the oil pump shaft through the inner rotor

and oil pump body.

Install the dive pin into the oil pump shaft hole and

align it with the inner rotor grooves.

Install the thrust washer.

Install the dowel pins.

Install the oil pump cover onto the oil pump body by

aligning the dowel pins on the body and holes of

Install and tighten the oil pump cover screw to the

specified torque.

TORQUE: 2 N·m (0.2 kgf·m, 1.5 lbf·ft)

Check that the oil pump shaft turns smoothly on the

oil pump body.

INSTALLATION

• When installing the oil pump assembly, do not

allow dust or dirt to enter the engine.

Install the oil pump onto the right crankcase by

aligning the dowel pins with the bolt holes and

tighten the mounting bolts.
