Assemble the connecting rod (page 14-9).
BEARING SELECTION
Disassemble the connecting rod (page 14-8).
Record the connecting rod I.D. code number.
Number 1, 2 or 3 on the connecting rod is the con-
necting rod I.D. code.
Record the crankpin O.D. code letter.
Letters A, B or C on crank weight is the crankpin
O.D. code.
Cross reference the connecting rod and crankpin
codes to determine the replacement bearing color
code.
