Connect the PAIR control solenoid valve 2P (Black)
connector.
Install the alternator/CKP sensor wire to the clamp.
Connect the alternator 3P (Black), CKP sensor 2P
(Red) connectors.
Connector the water hoses to the water pump
cover.
Install the joint pin.
Set the parking brake cable to the holder of the
swingarm and joint pin.
Install the adjusting nut.
Set the rear brake caliper.
Install new rear brake caliper mounting bolts and
tighten them to the specified torque.
TORQUE: 30 N·m (3.1 kgf·m, 22 lbf·ft)
Install the rear brake hose clamp and tighten the
bolt.
Set the parking brake cable clamps and tighten the
bolts.
Install the fuel feed hose to the injector side and
increase the fuel pressure (page 6-73).
Install the following:
– Muffler (page 3-33)
– Spark plug cap (page 4-7)
– Luggage lower box (page 3-16)
Fill the crankcase with engine oil (page 4-10).
Fill and bleed the cooling system (page 7-7).
After installing the engine, adjust the parking brake
lever freeplay (page 4-20).
