ELECTRIC STARTER
Remove the terminal nut.
NUT
Remove the following:
O-RING
– Washer
– Insulator
INSULATOR
– Terminal stopper
– O-ring
WASHER
TERMINAL STOPPER
Remove the terminal bolt, positive brushes and
(+) BRUSHES
brush holder from the rear cover.
BRUSH HOLDER TERMINAL BOLT
Inspect the brushes for damage and measure the
brush length.
SERVICE LIMIT: 6.5 mm (0.26 in)
