POWER CIRCUIT INSPECTION
Push the ignition switch and measure the voltage at
the RF unit 5P connector of the wire side using a
analog multimeter.
CONNECTION: Yellow/red (+) – Ground (–)
The multimeter needle should move to full scale
and then return to zero once when the ignition
switch is pushed.
If there is no voltage, check the following:
Check the continuity between the RF unit 5P connec-
tor of the wire side and ground.
CONNECTION: Green/black – Ground
There is continuity if the system is normal.
There is no continuity, check the open circuit in
Green/black wire.
SIGNAL LINE INSPECTION (WITH TEST PROBE)
Disconnect the handle lock module 21P (Black) con-
nector (page 23-26).
Push the registered card key system ON/OFF switch
ON and Put it within the operating range.
Check the continuity between the handle lock mod-
ule 21P and RF unit 5P connectors of the wire side.
CONNECTION: Black – Black
There is continuity if the system is normal.
SIGNAL LINE INSPECTION (WITH TEST HARNESS)
Connect the test harness 21P between the handle
lock module 21P connector and main harness (page
23-17).
Push the registered card key system ON/OFF switch
ON and Put it within the operating range.
Check the continuity between the test harness and
RF unit 5P connector of the wire side.
CONNECTION: 13 – Black
There is continuity if the system is normal.
