Connect a bleed hose to the upper bleed valve and
bleed the system as follows:
1. Pump the right brake lever several (5 – 10) times,
then squeeze the right brake lever all the way
and loosen the bleed valve 1/4 of a turn. Wait
several seconds and then close the bleed valve.
• Do not release the brake lever until the bleed
valve has been closed.
2. Release the right brake lever slowly until the
breed valve has been closed.
3. Repeat the steps 1 and 2 until there are no air
bubbles in the bleed hose.
Tighten the bleed valve to the specified torque.
TORQUE: 5.4 N·m (0.6 kgf·m, 4.0 lbf·ft)
After bleeding air completely fill the reservoir with
DOT 4 brake fluid to the upper level.
Install the diaphragm, diaphragm plate, reservoir
cap and tighten the screws securely.
TORQUE: 1.5 N·m (0.2 kgf·m, 1.1 lbf·ft)
