CRANKCASE/CRANKSHAFT/BALANCER

Apply molybdenum disulfide paste to the balancer

shaft sub-gear sliding surface.

Install the balancer shaft sub-gear and balancer

gear springs.

Install the washer and snap ring into the balancer

gear shaft groove.

• Check that the snap ring is seated in the groove.

• Do not reuse the snap ring which could easily

spin in the groove.
